Best Chicago style hot dogs in Central Illinois. Love the laid back atmosphere right by the boat ramp. One of our favorite destinations when out on the motorcycles. Their prices have gone up significantly, but so have everyone else's. Their prices on Google need updated.

Always great food and friendly service, Mr Mikes has been a gem on the water for decades. Recommend the Chicago Dog, Italian beef and tenderloin, paired with cheese fries, of course.

The fries were AMAZING, wanted to try the chilli dog to see what sonic was on about, was delicious! People were super nice and social! Once in a lifetine experience

We tried Mr mikes for the first time before getting on the river. We both ordered Italian beef sandwiches and fries. Everything came out amazing and it was the most flavorful beef I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.

This is an awesome little place right off the river. Food was good and plenty of outside seating. It's a place that feels only locals would know about so it has that quality to it.

Under new ownership since Mike's passing. There's been a few facility improvements, but the business is still the small dive that serves up quick hot food like Chicago style dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, fries, and my longtime favorite, breaded tenderloin on a bun. The staff was super eager to please. We liked our sandwiches, but I thought it was slightly over cooked as the coating was darker than the ideal golden brown made in Mike's days.
